1.Cut down on buying magazines. Instead, share magazine and return unwanted catalogs to the sender.

2.Don’t make exceptions at restaurants. If a waiter/waitress brings you napkins, just say no nicely. Ask for a cloth napkin instead.

3.Try to use non “glossy” newspapers. The gloss one can be harder to recycle due to their topped coat of clay, although printing techniques have changed in recent years, so ask the publisher to confirm that the newspaper breaks down with ease.
